I received this as a gift – but the device stopped reading discs after about 1 month and I had no receipt. The customer service department at my local electronics store said that it was not worth it to fix, so I had not choice but to dump it. I would stay away from this model.
Worst DVD player I’ve ever used

I bought this for my children for Christmas, because I thought it was a great (black friday) deal. We put in a new dvd, and it wouldn’t get past the “loading” screen. The DVD worked fine in 2 other players afterwards, but we tried a different DVD in the RCA player, and it was fine.
We tried a DVD +R in there, and it wouldn’t work (it claims to). We tried another purchased DVD we had watched the night before in another machine, it wouldn’t work. We tried a 5th DVD in there, it also wouldn’t work. I don’t care how cheap this player was, if it only plays 1/6th of the DVDs we load, it is useless. Buy any other machine. This one is horrendous.
