Amazing Features, Amazing Price, Amazing Value!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought this unit after searching for something that simply had USB inputs, but after seeing the abundance of other features for not a lot of $$ more, I asked around about Lanzar and even though I couldn’t find the manual anywhere on-line, I bought the unit trusting the positive feedback I’d gotten.
In-dash installation was very straightforward, with very common wiring. The unit is easy to use right away although installing the faceplate is a bit awkward til you’ve done it a few times.
It sounds great, is easy to use and navigate, you can even change the scrolling display to read whatever you want it to! Not only can you play mp3′s from a thumb drive, but you can play videos and scroll through photos from one as well.
The remote is very handy but some of the markings are difficult in some situations, (red characters on a small black button is tough).
I haven’t gotten around to setting up the bluetooth yet I’ve been having so much fun with everything else!
I’ve suggested to my wife that we get one for her car, I think another few miles in my ride and she’ll be ready to switch!
not a bad product
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I received my in a timely manner. it installed easily and worked well…for a while. I purchased this product in June. the summer heat here got in the high 90′s, so the inside heat in my white pickup was pretty hot. my lanzar unit kept trying to default to DVD mode and sometimes the screen wouldn’t come on untill the A/C cooled things down a bit.
The music sounds great and the DVD picture and sound is great, the radio reception could definitely be better. But the graphics of the display while in radio and aux mode are really bad. All the touch buttons work fine but look like 1980′s software graphics, it’s embarrassing and i found no way to do visual upgrades. There’s also a usb port on the front that i never was able to use but tried, there’s no clear instruction how to use it.
Ok, so now it’s October and we had a cold front move through. I got in my pickup early that morning and the temperature was about 25 degrees. the display quit working permanently but everything else still works, even the touch screen. but it’s hard to navigate a touch screen with no display.
All in all everything worked how expected but it doesn’t do extreme temperature too well. if you think that was extreme..
GOOD DEAL

The price is very reasonable for this item with such features. This dealer really means business as the shipping were done smoothly. I made a good deal…//
Best Relation Cost Benefit
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Even though that the display looks like a computer back from the 80′s, the video quality when playind a DVD is amazing and it has a good sound…. the best relationship cost-benefit found.
Cheap price… Cheap quality
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
I’m not sure what the people who gave this product 5 stars are thinking, apparently they have incredibly low standards. Granted, the price is amazing for something with a screen this size and it does play DVD’s but I have not been satisfied with this product overall.
Radio reception is not good.
Touch screen graphics are not good.
Sound quality is acceptable.
Functionality is very limited. You may as well forget about playing mp3′s from a disc unless you plan on just letting the disc play through as I have yet to find a way to browse through folders (albums). I find this very frustrating.
I have had this product for about a month and I have not been able to get anything to play through USB, and since it requires an adapter I have been lucky enough to lose the adapter (about 3in), so I guess I won’t be exploring the USB functionality anymore.
I have also had issues with the aux input. I found it difficult to get a good connection with the supplied cable and any little bump or movement caused loss of audio.
If you’re like me the price is too good to resist, however I caution everyone to spend more if you are able to and get something else. This product is cheap in price but also in quality.
